Máximo confort y lujo
The Porsche 911 is the most iconic and famous car produced by Porsche. The first generation was introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show on 12 September 1963. Since then seven more generations have been produced, and it continues to be the best selling car of the Stuttgart manufacturer.
The 911 has a distinctive design, all behind, rear engine, back wheel drive and independent suspension. Since its introduction in 1963, it has undergone continuous development, but the basic concept has remained almost intact, a fact which makes it one of the most legendary sports cars of all time. It is a fastback coupe with 2 + 2 seater configuration.
Another distinctive feature of the Porsche 911 is its engine capacity; all are equipped with a 3,000 cc engine. Specifically, the 1982 Porsche 911 SC Targa in the Grup Limousines collection has 5 gears and dry sump that delivers a whopping 204 hp and can reach a top speed of 235 kph. Another distinctive feature of these models is that they are cooled by air and oil but not by water. Porsche maintained these characteristics from 1963 to 1998.
The 1982 Porsche Targa stands head and shoulders above its siblings, the Coupe and the Cabriolet, as it had the advantages of both. On the one hand you could enjoy the pleasure of driving in convertible mode in about a minute, the time it takes for the rigid roof to be removed and stored in the front luggage compartment. Furthermore driving with the roof on was much more comfortable than in the Cabriolet, with no vibrations and total insulation from water and wind.
All these features make this iconic vehicle one of the most legendary, pleasant and fun-to-drive sports cars.
