The Ferrari factory is located in Maranello, a small town of 15,000 inhabitants in the province of Modena. The Ferrari 308 was the first vehicle in which Ferrari changed from a front- to a mid-engine, placing Ferrari in the vanguard of sports car design. The Ferrari 308 was designed with an aggressive line that has been described as one of the most beautiful of all Ferraris.

The 308 became famous on TV for its appearance in the series Magnum PI, where the private investigator Thomas Magnum, played by actor Tom Selleck, drove a red one.

For fans of “alfresco driving“ the Ferrari 308 GTS is a dream come true. A total of 3,219 308 GTS cars were manufactured; of the only 70 cars painted in white there are just 2 in Spain.

The 308 GTS (Gran Turismo Spider), became the iconic car of all American playboys. This car was designed by Pininfarina and built by Scaglietti, and is the last of the legendary Ferraris fed by carburettors. Its engine is 4 camshafts in head and V-8 of 90º transversely mounted just before the rear axle, and the feed is supplied by four twin barrel Weber carburettors.

When accelerating it makes a legendary sound that delights all lovers of sports cars.
